About Me

Who is behind KishpiWay

KishpiWay was born from a family story, with deep roots and a way of understanding life based on freedom, effort and building your own path.

The name KishpiWay reflects my personal story. “Kishpi” comes from Quechua, the language of my Ecuadorian roots and part of my grandfather’s surname, and represents freedom. “Way”, in English, means path and reflects my life today after more than a decade living in the United Kingdom.

The combination of both words represents the balance between origin and present: roots that shape identity and a personal path built with effort, curiosity and purpose.

I am a mother, a migrant woman and the creator of this project. I live in London and I travel with a realistic mindset, looking for authentic, practical and memorable experiences that can truly be enjoyed, especially when travelling as a family.

KishpiWay is not about perfect travel, but real life. It comes from planning trips with limited time, real budgets and the desire to create meaningful memories.

This space is a mix of practical guides, honest inspiration and personal experience. A place to share tested destinations, useful tips and real experiences for families who, like mine, travel with excitement but also with a practical mindset.

Our way of travelling

We believe in travelling in a realistic, organised way without unnecessary stress. We’re not looking for perfect luxury or idealised trips, but authentic experiences that fit real life.

We only share places we’ve actually visited, honest recommendations and tips that truly work. Because travelling well doesn’t mean spending more, but planning better and experiencing each moment with intention.
